Q. How do I start a timer?
- Click
New Timerin the timer manager. - Enter a timer name and the hours, minutes, and seconds. For a 3-minute timer, enter
0,3, and0, respectively. - To play an alarm when the timer finishes, click the speaker icon to enable sound, then adjust the volume with the slider.
- Click
Open Timerto open the timer window. - Click
Startin the timer window.
Q. Why are there timers I did not create?
- Timers for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 1 hour are provided by default.
- If you do not need them, click the trash can icon to delete them.
Q. What should I enter for a timer?
- You can set a duration from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
- For a 90-minute timer, set
Hoursto1,Minutesto30, andSecondsto0. - Choose a timer name that describes its purpose or duration.
- The allowed values are listed below.

Q. How do I save my timer settings?
- Your settings are saved automatically as you enter them. There is no save button.
- Settings with input errors are not saved. Resolve any input errors before closing the page.
Q. Why can't I click Open Timer?
- You cannot open a timer with a duration of less than 1 second. Enter the hours, minutes, and seconds.
Q. Why can't I find timers I created earlier?
- Timer settings are stored in your browser. Make sure you are using the same device, user account, and browser that you used to create them.
- Your settings may be deleted if you clear browser site data or end a private browsing session.
- Your settings may not be saved if your browser restricts site data storage.
Q. Why can't I use the Volume slider or the Play button?
- The
Volumeslider and thePlaybutton are unavailable when sound is disabled. - Click the speaker icon to enable sound before using these controls.

Q. What happens when I click Reset?
- The timer returns to its state before it was started.
- If the timer has finished and the alarm is playing, the alarm stops.
Q. Is the volume I set in the timer window saved?
- No. It is a temporary setting. Changes made in a timer window only apply to that window.
Q. Can I use multiple timers at the same time?
- Yes. Each time you click
Open Timerin the timer manager, a separate timer window opens.
Q. Do changes in the timer manager apply to a timer window that is already open?
- A timer window uses the settings from when it was opened. Changes made in the timer manager afterward do not apply to that window.
Q. How long does the alarm play when the timer finishes? How can I stop it?
- The alarm plays for about 10 seconds.
- To stop it immediately, click
Resetor close the timer window.
Q. Why can't I hear the alarm when the timer finishes?
- Possible reasons include:
- Sound is disabled or the volume is set to 0 in the timer window.
- Audio output is disabled or the volume is set to 0 in your speaker or headphone settings.
- Your device is in sleep mode.
- Check whether you can preview the alarm sound in the timer manager.
Q. Can I use a timer with its window minimized?
- Yes. The timer continues running while its window is minimized.
- If your taskbar displays window titles, you can also check the remaining time on the taskbar.
Q. Will the alarm play while my phone screen is locked or my computer is asleep?
- The alarm does not play while your phone screen is locked or your computer is asleep.
Q. I see Failed to load the timer settings. What should I do?
- Try refreshing the browser (Ctrl + F5).
- If the issue persists, delete the timer in the timer manager and create a new one.
